The Area….

Savines le Lac is one of the most popular areas on the Lac de Serre Poncon.
It is a warm and friendly village with a great choice of restaurants and bars as well as 2 small marinas and water sports facilities.
The local authorities recently finished the local beach area which has protected swimming and a lovely public grass area beside the beach.
There is a pleasure boat that stops here and tours the whole lake, and it is possible to rent out small speed boats as well.
There are a few hotels and several campsites, though more property owners are now seeing the benefits of renting out quality family accommodation.

The area is also only a few kilometres away from a choice of ski stations including Les Orres, Relaillon, Vars and Risoul.

This area has a wonderful climate, being closer to Provence than the Alps in terms of summer sun
